Sita Ramam is an 2022 Indian Telugu-language romance film written and directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. It is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur (in her Telugu debut), Rashmika Mandanna and Sumanth.
Principal photography commenced in April 2021 and took place in Kashmir, Russia and Hyderabad. The film has music composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar, cinematography by P. S. Vinod and Shreyaas Krishna and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. It is scheduled for release on 5 August 2022.
Lieutenant Ram's (Dulquer Salman) day-to-day routine involves patrolling through the breathtaking valleys of Kashmir, with no family to talk or write to. One day, he receives a letter from a woman called Sita (Mrunal Thakur), who claims to be his wife. Thus begins an unusual love story in the valley of 1965, agains the backdrop of war.
